About Me
My whole life, I have had a passion for human connection and a curiosity about what makes each of us tick. Prior to working as a therapist, I grew up playing team sports, including division-1 college volleyball, and worked directly with others in a different setting for over 10 years. This grew my love for working with people and fostering a human connection to achieve goals. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a crucial component of the healing process, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I am drawn to the field of therapy because of the unique opportunity it provides to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level and to help facilitate positive change and growth in their lives. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that is tailored to each individual.
I have received extensive clinical training in mental health and am well-equipped to provide therapy services to individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues, including severe depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. While obtaining my Master's Degree, I received my training at Clear Recovery Center in Redondo Beach, CA, where I specialized in running daily groups focused on DBT, CBT, communication skills, building resilience, and self-compassion. In addition to leading group therapy sessions, I also provided individual therapy and worked with clients' families and outside providers. I am committed to providing support and care to my clients and am available outside of regular outpatient hours. My experience working with clients with a variety of mental health concerns allows me to approach each client with a unique and personalized approach.
